Questions and answers

FAQ
For clubs
The directory, the online schedule, hosting a league.
Our club is already in the directory but we did not add it. How do we take it over?
Open your club’s page and use “Claim this listing”. A moderator checks the request and hands the listing to you; from then on you edit hours, prices and the schedule.
Do we have to sell bookings online to be listed?
No. A listing can be information only. Online booking is a switch you turn on when you are ready, court by court.
FAQ
For organisers
Setting up and running a league, fees, the table on your website.
How long does it take to set up a league?
Ten minutes: name, town, format (groups, points, promotion rules), visibility and an optional fee. Players sign up by themselves; the draw happens when you close entries.
Can I charge an entry fee?
Yes. Set the amount when creating the league. The app shows who has paid, and you export the settlement at the end of the season.
Can I run a league only for my club members?
Make it private: it does not appear in search and joins only by a link you share. You can open it up later.
Can the table be shown on our club website?
Yes. Every league has an embed snippet – paste it into any page (WordPress, Wix, plain HTML) and the live table, fixtures and results appear there.
FAQ
For players
Signing up, divisions, ratings, playing matches.
Does it cost anything to join?
Creating an account and playing friendly matches is free. Some leagues charge an entry fee set by their organiser – you see it before you sign up.
How does the app know my level?
At the start you answer five quick questions (how long you have played, how often, serve, rallies, matches) and get a suggested level on the 1.5–5.5+ scale. You can correct it. From the first confirmed result the OTL rating takes over.
I am not a member of any club. Can I still play?
Yes. Leagues are open to anyone at the right level. You need a court for the match – booked through the app at a listed club, or anywhere you and your opponent agree.
What if my opponent enters a wrong score?
Nothing changes until you confirm. Reject the result and the organiser gets a dispute to settle. Until then the table stays as it was.
How much time does a season take?
A typical division has 6–8 players and one match per round; rounds are usually two weeks long. Count on one match every two weeks, at a time you chose yourself.
