Terms of service

Migration note: template – complete the Operator’s details and have the text reviewed before going live.

1. Definitions

Service – the website opentennisleague.com and the application at app.opentennisleague.com. Operator – [COMPANY NAME]. User – any person with an account. Organiser – a User running a league. Venue – a club listed in the directory.

2. Accounts

An account requires a valid e-mail address and acceptance of these terms. One person, one account. You are responsible for what happens under your login.

3. Leagues and results

The Organiser sets the rules of a league. Results are entered by one side and confirmed by the other; disputed results are settled by the Organiser. Ratings are computed automatically and are not subject to appeal.

4. Fees

Creating an account is free. Entry fees for individual leagues are set and collected by their Organisers through the Service; refunds follow the league’s rules stated at sign-up.

5. Court bookings

Bookings are contracts between the User and the Venue. Cancellation windows and no-show rules are set by each Venue and shown before you confirm.

6. Conduct

Fair play on and off the court. Fake results, harassment or impersonation lead to suspension.

7. Liability

The Operator provides the Service as is and is not a party to matches or bookings. [FURTHER CLAUSES].

8. Changes

We will notify Users of material changes by e-mail at least 14 days in advance.
