Open Tennis League
Tables, fixtures and promotions worked out from the results themselves. Plus a court booked at the club and an opponent at your level - no calls to reception, no spreadsheet.
One side enters the score, the other confirms it - that is all it takes. Points, promotions and relegations follow, with nobody keeping a spreadsheet.
You mark when you play. An opponent from your division gets a proposed time instead of the question “so when?”.
The club schedule online: free hours, the price list and a booking without calling reception.
Three ways in
An organiser brings the competition, players come to a ready league, and a club lends its courts. Each of the three gets a different door - pick yours.
For organisers
Groups, fixtures, scoring, promotions and relegations - the table works itself out from the results. Put the finished table on your club website with one pasted snippet.
For players
Sign up for a league in your town, play matches in your division and keep an eye on your place in the table. Your OTL rating starts with the first confirmed result.
For clubs and venues
Add your club to the directory and run the schedule online: prices, opening hours, blocks for tournaments and settlements. Players book for themselves and reception stops answering the phone.
What is in the app
Every feature below exists because somebody used to do it by hand - in a spreadsheet, a group chat or at the club reception.
One player enters the score, the other confirms it. Points, positions, promotions and relegations follow at once – nobody keeps a spreadsheet, nobody chases anyone.
Mark the hours you can play. The app finds an opponent from your division with a matching slot and proposes a time – instead of a chain of “so when?” messages.
A short self-assessment sets your starting level; confirmed results move it from there. Divisions are drawn from the rating, so you meet opponents who make you work.
Between league rounds, challenge anyone at your level in the community. Friendly results count towards your rating, so the off-season is never dead time.
The club schedule online: free hours, the price list and a booking in three taps. Match proposed, court booked, done – no phone call to reception.
Every league ships with an embed snippet. Paste it into any page and the live table, fixtures and results appear there, updated automatically.
How it works
No club membership required, no fee to open an account. A league fee, when there is one, is set by its organiser.
Create an accountE-mail, a short level questionnaire and you are in. Free for players; no club membership required.
Browse leagues in your town and sign up – or set up your own, public or private, in a few minutes.
Tick your free hours. The app pairs you with an opponent from your division and proposes a time and a court.
After the match one of you enters the result, the other confirms it. The table and your rating update on the spot.
Pick your surface
Switch the look of this site to the surface you play on. The choice stays in your browser - the ball stays green on all three.

FAQ
Creating an account and playing friendly matches is free. Some leagues charge an entry fee set by their organiser – you see it before you sign up.
At the start you answer five quick questions (how long you have played, how often, serve, rallies, matches) and get a suggested level on the 1.5–5.5+ scale. You can correct it. From the first confirmed result the OTL rating takes over.
Yes. Leagues are open to anyone at the right level. You need a court for the match – booked through the app at a listed club, or anywhere you and your opponent agree.
Nothing changes until you confirm. Reject the result and the organiser gets a dispute to settle. Until then the table stays as it was.
A typical division has 6–8 players and one match per round; rounds are usually two weeks long. Count on one match every two weeks, at a time you chose yourself.
Ten minutes: name, town, format (groups, points, promotion rules), visibility and an optional fee. Players sign up by themselves; the draw happens when you close entries.
